MOODFOOD’S STORY
Moodfood organic soft granola started off as something we did for our family.
The mum of the family, Mervi, is Mood, and is passionate about health and environmental impacts as well as everyone’s wellbeing. Tuukka, the dad, is the family’s Food, who makes sure that everything we eat is absolutely delicious.
The story of Moodfood started thanks to our children already in the 2010s. Our perspectives changed when one of us worked around the clock running two companies, to let the other stay at home to make the children's everyday life a bit more peaceful. As the attention shifted from ourselves to the children, we became aware of our wider sense of responsibility. Parenthood forced us to really start thinking and we reconsidered all our purchases, especially those regarding food.
For years, we continuously developed better and cleaner food for the family. We wanted to offer our growing and active children good, filling and healthy food made from natural ingredients and good fats. Food made from ingredients you recognise.
The Moodfood business started in spring 2019, but the recipes have been developed and refined during the years before that. The children grew bigger and a dream about bringing these superb products into everyone else’s homes started to emerge.
Moodfood’s first product, gluten-free organic granola, is already widely available in stores throughout Finland. The product family will keep growing and genuine, natural ingredients will continue to be at the centre of it all.
